Friday, May 6th 2005 ~ Event Update

~ An Evening of Music with Heartstrings and The HayBoys at the Hidden Valley Music Seminars in Carmel Valley Village. Doors will open at 5:30. Food and drinks will be available for purchase courtesy of the Carmel Valley Kiwanis Club. Pre-concert entertainment begins at 6:15 pm. Proceeds to benefit the Orchestra in the Schools Program. ~ Following a long-standing tradition, Heartstrings will be performing at the Church in the Forest, Pebble Beach for the annual St. Patricks’s Service. Music starts at 9:00 a.m. and the service will begin at 9:30. Coffee & cookies & chat (free!) and CD sales will be available to all directly after the service. For directions to the Church, see

Saturday, March 12th 2005 ~ Event Update

~ Friends of Hidden Valley presents “An Evening in Ireland.” 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Hidden Valley Seminars, Ford and Carmel Valley roads, Carmel Valley. Irish food, entertainment by Heartstrings (Note: we’ll be playing from 6:30 to 7:30, so get there early!!), The Allison Barnes Academy of Irish Dance, Irish singers, pipers and performers Shannon Miller, John Michael and harpist Amy Krupski. After dinner, dance to the music of the Tom Lawson Trio in a tribute to Van Morrison. $35. Benefit for the programs at Hidden Valley Seminars. Be sure to wear green! For tickets, call 659-3115.

February 12, 2005 ~ Event Update

~ Heartstrings Monterey will be appearing as their alter ego, Las Cuerdas del Corazon, with the Alta California Dancers on Saturday, February 12th, from 1 to 4 pm at the Cooper Store in Monterey as part of A Day of Romance in Old Monterey. Tour times for the adobes are 10 am to 1 pm. Each tour takes approximately 2 hours, leaving from the Cooper-Molera Adobe Complex and concluding at the Cooper Barn for period music by Heartstrings Monterey. Tea and refreshments will be served. Docents will lead guests to four historic adobes where actors will present four romance plays. Tours depart every half hour (with the exception of 12:30) beginning at 10 am.
